Account & Subscriptions

Waitlist access, signing in, plans, billing and account settings.

  • How do I join the waitlist, and when will I get access?

Sign up with your email on the HybridTrader landing page to join the waitlist. Access opens in waves as we scale capacity, so joining reserves your place in the queue. Being on the waitlist doesn't require payment, and we can't promise a specific date for any individual account. When your invite is ready we'll email you a link to activate your account, so add our sending domain to your contacts to be sure it doesn't land in spam.

  • How do I sign in to HybridTrader?

HybridTrader has no password. Go to the log-in page, enter the email address on your account, and we email you a 6-digit one-time code (OTP). Type or paste the code into the six boxes and you're in. Codes are time-limited: if yours has expired, go back, enter your email and request a new one. If you never set a password and are wondering where the password box went, that's expected: there isn't one.

  • I didn't receive my sign-in code (OTP). What should I do?

Work through these in order. 1) Check your spam or junk folder and search your whole mailbox for "HybridTrader". 2) Give it a minute or two, as email delivery can lag. 3) Check you typed the exact address your account was created with, including the right domain: a code sent to an address with no account will never arrive. 4) Request a fresh code, because the previous one expires. If you request codes repeatedly in a short space of time you'll be rate-limited for a while, so pause before retrying. If nothing arrives after all that, or you've lost access to the mailbox entirely, start a chat here and we'll help you verify your identity another way. Never share a code with anyone, including us.

  • How do I change the email address on my account?

Your email address is also your sign-in identity, so changing it is a security-sensitive action. If you can still sign in, look under Settings, on the General tab, in the account card. If you've lost access to the old mailbox and can't receive a sign-in code, start a chat with support: we'll verify it's really you before we change anything. We will never change the address on an account from an unverified request, and we'll never ask you to send us a sign-in code.

  • What subscription plans are available, and is there a free trial?

There are two paid options: Paid monthly or annually. Live prices, the exact feature list for each tier and the currency for your region are shown on the sign-up and checkout screens, so treat those as the source of truth rather than anything quoted in chat. If you're not sure which tier fits how you trade, tell us what you're trying to get out of the platform and we'll talk it through.

  • How do I cancel or change my subscription?

Subscription cancellations and plan changes are currently support-assisted. After signing in, start a support chat or create a support ticket and state whether you want to cancel or change plan; the team will verify the subscription and confirm the effective date before making the change. Under the current Stripe policy, a cancellation processed during a Stripe monthly free trial ends the trial and access immediately. For a Stripe-backed active paid subscription, support can schedule cancellation for the end of the current paid billing period so access continues until that date. Other subscription sources may behave differently. Plan-change timing and any billing adjustment depend on the requested change, so support will confirm them before action. Do not include full card details in chat or a ticket.

  • Can I get a refund?

All the purchases are non refundable. If you think you've been charged twice or charged after cancelling, please raise the ticket, and say so explicitly and we'll prioritise it. Please don't post full card numbers in chat: the last four digits and the date are enough for us to find the payment.

  • Is my payment information secure? Where are my card details stored?

Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number is entered into Stripe's own payment form and is never stored on HybridTrader's servers: we only hold the reference Stripe gives us so we can tie a subscription to your account. That means support can see which plan you're on and when it renews, but nobody at HybridTrader can see your full card number. If you need an invoice or receipt, or you spot a charge you don't recognise, contact support with the date and amount and we'll pull the payment record.

  • I've paid but the app says I don't have access. What now?

Immediately after a successful payment there's a short window where the payment has gone through but the subscription hasn't finished being written to your account. The app reports this as a payment still finalising and it normally clears within a minute, so refresh and try again. If it's still not through after a few minutes, sign out and back in so your session picks up the new plan. If it's been longer than that, start a chat: once you've verified your identity the assistant can look up your live subscription state and tell you exactly what it sees, including whether a payment is stuck mid-finalisation.

  • Are there any offers, discounts or promotion codes available?

Offers may be public, campaign-specific or limited to particular customers, plans, prices or regions. The support assistant cannot list account-specific offers or prevalidate promotion codes, and the current HybridTrader checkout does not accept a code entered through support chat. Treat the price and any offer explicitly shown in checkout as the source of truth. If you were sent a campaign offer but it is not reflected there, contact support with the campaign name or message you received; do not post payment-card details or assume a code shared by another user applies to your account.

MT5 / TradeLocker

Connecting MetaTrader 5, TradeLocker and Tradovate, and keeping your trades in sync.

  • Which trading platforms can I connect, and what are my options for getting trades in?

There are four ways to get trades into your journal. 1) MetaTrader 5, either by Quick connect (we sync your history on a schedule using your investor password) or by installing our Expert Advisor in your terminal for real-time updates. 2) TradeLocker, using your TradeLocker email, password and broker server. 3) Tradovate, over OAuth; NinjaTrader users sign in with the same Tradovate credentials. 4) A CSV export from almost any platform, or typing a trade in by hand. TradeLocker and Tradovate are being rolled out gradually, so if you don't see them in the Add connection list yet they're not enabled for your account. CSV import and manual entry always work.

  • Can I connect MetaTrader 4 (MT4), cTrader, IG or another platform?

Automatic syncing is only available for MetaTrader 5, TradeLocker and Tradovate. MetaTrader 4 is not supported and connecting an MT5 account will not pick up MT4 history, so please don't try to use the MT5 flow for an MT4 account. That doesn't lock you out of the platform though: export your history from your platform and bring it in with "Add trade" then "Import from CSV", which maps almost any column layout, or add trades manually. You can also create a trading account in your journal labelled cTrader, IG, Manual or Other so your trades are grouped sensibly even without a live connection. Everything else, including the analytics, the calendar and the Psychology surfaces, works exactly the same on imported and manual trades as it does on synced ones. If you'd like us to prioritise your platform, tell support which one and we'll log the request.

  • Does connecting my account let HybridTrader place trades for me?

No. HybridTrader is a decision-support and journaling platform, not an execution venue. Every connection we offer is read-only by design. For MetaTrader 5 Quick connect we deliberately require your investor (read-only) password and reject the master trading password if you paste it by mistake, precisely so we can never hold credentials capable of placing a trade. TradeLocker and Tradovate connections read your positions and order history only. Support will never ask you to hand over trading control, and will never ask for your master password or a sign-in code.

  • How do I connect my MT5 (MetaTrader 5) account? Give me the steps.

Go to Settings, open the Trading Journal tab, find the "Broker & platform connections" card and click "Add connection", then choose MetaTrader 5. (The same flow sits behind "Add trade" then "Connect account" in your Journal.) You'll be offered two methods. Quick connect is the recommended one: nothing to install, and we pull your closed-trade history on a schedule. You'll need three things: the Broker server, copied exactly as your terminal shows it under File then "Login to Trade Account" (for example Pepperstone-MT5-Live); your Account login, which is the numeric account number; and your investor (read-only) password, not your main trading password. In MetaTrader 5 you set or change the investor password under Tools, Options, Server. An account label and base currency are optional. Submit, and the connection shows "Checking…" while we verify it, usually a few minutes and rarely more than an hour. Once it flips to "Connected" your closed trades are imported and appear in your Journal. The alternative method is the Expert Advisor, which gives real-time updates but requires you to install our EA in MetaTrader 5 and leave the terminal running.

  • What's the difference between MT5 Quick connect and the Expert Advisor?

Quick connect needs no software: you give us the broker server, account number and investor (read-only) password, and we log in on a schedule and import your closed trades. It's the recommended option for most people and it keeps working when your computer is off. Its trade-off is that it's periodic, defaulting to every hour, so a trade you just closed isn't instant. The Expert Advisor is the other way round: you generate an API key in HybridTrader, paste it into our Expert Advisor inside MetaTrader 5, and the terminal pushes trades to us as they happen. That gives real-time updates but only while the terminal is running with the EA attached. You can't use both methods on the same MT5 account at once: if you try, you'll see an error saying the account is already connected via the Expert Advisor, and you'd need to revoke that key first.

  • How often does MT5 Quick connect sync, and can I change it or force a sync?

A new Quick connect connection syncs every hour by default. You can change that on the connection: open Settings, Trading Journal tab, find the connection, use its menu and choose "Edit connection", then pick a sync frequency between every 15 minutes and once a day. If you want your latest trade now, a connected Quick connect row has a "Sync now" button. That button has a cooldown, so if you press it repeatedly the app will tell you the time you can next sync rather than queuing more work. Expert Advisor connections don't have a frequency setting: they push trades as the terminal sees them.

  • My MT5 connection says "Needs attention" or failed. How do I fix it?

Open Settings, Trading Journal tab, and read the message on the connection row: it names the specific cause. The common ones and their fixes are: "We couldn't sign in with those details" means the account number or investor password is wrong, so re-copy the password and use "Update password"; "We couldn't find that broker server" means the server name doesn't match, so copy it character for character from MetaTrader 5 under File then "Login to Trade Account"; "That looks like your main trading password" means you pasted the master password, so set or copy the investor password under Tools, Options, Server and enter that instead; "Your broker didn't allow read-only login" means investor access is switched off at the broker and only they can enable it; and "We're having trouble reaching the sync service" is our side, retries automatically, and needs nothing from you. After a credential failure the connection stays locked until you enter a fresh investor password, which is deliberate so we don't hammer your broker with a password it has already rejected. If the message doesn't match any of these, or it keeps coming back, start a chat: once you've verified your identity the assistant can read your live connection state and last error.

  • MT5 says connected but no trades were imported.

First, check what we import: closed trades. Positions that are still open won't appear until they're closed, so an account with only running positions will look empty. Second, if the connection shows a note saying we connected but found no closed trades, that's the account genuinely having no closed deals in the window we looked at, and it will pick them up on the next sync once you close something. Third, check you connected the account you actually trade on rather than a demo or a second account at the same broker. If you have closed trades that are definitely older and still missing, tell support the platform, the account label and roughly when the trades closed, and we'll look at the import for that connection.

  • What happens if I pause, delete or reconnect a platform connection?

Pausing stops the schedule but keeps everything: the connection sits as "Paused" and you can hit "Resume" to start syncing again. Deleting is permanent: it destroys the stored encrypted credentials and stops all syncing for that account. In both cases the trades already in your journal stay exactly where they are, along with your notes, tags and reflections, so you never lose journal history by disconnecting. Reconnecting the same account afterwards is fine; it starts a new connection and imports from that point, so if you were disconnected for a while there may be a gap you'll want to fill with a CSV import or manual entries. For Expert Advisor keys the equivalents are Rotate, which replaces the secret and stops the old one working, and Revoke, which permanently disables the key so that terminal stops syncing.

  • How do I connect TradeLocker?

Go to Settings, Trading Journal tab, "Broker & platform connections", "Add connection", then TradeLocker. It's three steps. First, pick the environment, Live for a funded account or Demo for a practice account, then enter your TradeLocker email, your TradeLocker password, and your Server. The server is the one named in the onboarding email your broker or prop firm sent you; it is not an MT5 broker server name and the two are not interchangeable. Click "Find my accounts". Second, choose which of the discovered accounts you want in your journal; you can add the others later. Third, give the connection a display name and choose how far back the first import should look, from 7 days up to 12 months, defaulting to 30 days. Creating the connection signs in to TradeLocker and backfills that history, which can take up to a minute, so keep the window open. If TradeLocker isn't in the Add connection list, it isn't enabled for your account yet.

  • TradeLocker signed in but found no accounts, or rejected my details.

If sign-in worked but no accounts came back, you're almost certainly on the wrong environment or the wrong server: a Live login has no accounts on a Demo server and vice versa. Go back a step, flip the environment toggle, re-check the server name against your broker's onboarding email, and try again. If the details were rejected outright, check the email and password by signing in on TradeLocker's own site first. Two other messages are worth knowing: if your broker has temporarily locked sign-in attempts after repeated failures, wait a few minutes before retrying; and if your broker asks for a captcha, sign in on their site once to clear it, then come back. If you're still stuck, tell support which environment and server you're using, but never paste your password into chat.

  • How do I connect Tradovate (or NinjaTrader)?

Go to Settings, Trading Journal tab, "Broker & platform connections", "Add connection", then Tradovate. Choose your environment first: Live is your funded account and Demo is your Tradovate simulation account, and they are separate logins. Click "Continue to Tradovate" and you'll be sent to Tradovate's own page to sign in and approve read access; we never see your Tradovate password. If you trade through NinjaTrader, use your NinjaTrader login on that page, as it's the same account. Once you approve, you're brought back to HybridTrader to pick which accounts you want in your journal. Access is refreshed in the background, and you can revoke it from HybridTrader or from Tradovate at any time. If it ever expires or you revoke it, just run the flow again to restore syncing. If Tradovate isn't in the Add connection list, it isn't enabled for your account yet.

  • My trades aren't showing up. What should I check?

Run through this in order. 1) Only closed trades are imported, so an open position won't appear yet. 2) Open Settings, Trading Journal tab and look at the connection: the row shows its status and when it last synced. "Connected" with a recent sync means we're working; "Needs attention" or "Paused" tells you exactly what to fix. 3) Give it time: MT5 Quick connect defaults to hourly, so a trade closed ten minutes ago legitimately isn't in yet. Use "Sync now" if you can't wait. 4) If you use the Expert Advisor, confirm MetaTrader 5 is actually running with the EA attached and the key hasn't expired or been revoked. 5) Check the trade is on the account you connected, not a different account at the same broker. If it still doesn't appear, start a chat: once you've verified your identity the assistant can read your live connection health, last successful sync and last error, and tell you which layer is failing. Never share your account password in chat.

Macro Desk Signals

What Flow, Bearing, Pulse, Edge Factor and Composure mean, and how to read them.

  • What are the Macro Desk signals (Flow, Bearing, Pulse, Edge Factor)?

The Macro Desk, in the main navigation, distils live market data into a small set of context signals. Flow is the pressure and direction of activity in the market. Bearing is the prevailing directional bias or lean. Pulse is how much momentum and energy is currently in the move. Edge Factor is a composite read that blends the pieces into an overall sense of conviction. They're built to give you fast situational awareness before you commit to an idea, not to hand you a verdict.

  • How should I use these signals in my trading?

Treat them as one input among many. They're most useful alongside your own analysis, your trading plan and your journal, for framing context and sizing conviction rather than for blindly entering or exiting. A useful habit is to note what the Macro Desk was saying when you took a trade, then review in your journal whether agreeing or fighting that context changed your outcomes over time. They are context, not a buy or sell instruction.

  • How often are the Macro Desk signals updated?

Signals recompute as new market data arrives through the trading session, so they move as conditions change. How lively they look depends on the timeframes in view and on whether the market is actually open: over a weekend, a holiday or an overnight session for a market that's shut, expect them to sit still. That's the market being closed, not the platform being broken.

  • What does it mean when market data is shown as stale, closed or degraded?

We label the freshness of the data behind a signal instead of quietly showing you an old number as if it were current. "Open" means the newest data is inside the freshness window for the timeframes you're looking at. "Closed" means the market itself is shut, which is why nothing is moving. "Stale" means the data is older than we'd expect and there's no market closure to explain it, so treat those readings with caution until they refresh. If a signal can't be computed honestly we'd rather tell you it's degraded than invent a confident-looking score. If something reads as stale for a long stretch during an open session, that's worth reporting to support with the instrument and the time you saw it.

  • Are the Macro Desk signals financial advice?

No. HybridTrader provides decision-support and educational context. It does not provide personalised financial advice or recommendations, and nothing in the platform should be read as a recommendation to buy or sell. You remain responsible for your own trading decisions, and trading carries risk including the risk of loss. Consider your own circumstances and, where appropriate, seek independent advice. Support can explain how a signal is built, but cannot tell you what to trade.

  • Why does a signal look different from when I last checked?

Live values recompute continuously as new data arrives, so a reading you saw an hour ago will naturally have moved. What we deliberately don't do is rewrite the past: when you look at a historical moment, HybridTrader uses only the data that existed at that time and never back-fills later prices, news or sentiment into an earlier view. That's why a historical read can look less certain than hindsight suggests it should, and it's intentional, because a journal that quietly improves your old context is worthless for learning.

  • What is Composure?

Composure sits on the mindset side of HybridTrader, not the market side. Rather than describing conditions, it reflects your own state and discipline: how calm and consistent your decision-making has been across your recent trading. It's expressed as a state such as calm, stable, elevated, fragile or tilted, and it's weighted towards your most recent trades over roughly the last month so it reacts to how you're trading now. It feeds the Psychology analytics so you can see how your emotional state lines up with your results over time. It needs journalled trades with reflections to mean anything: with very little data it will tell you so rather than guess.

Journaling & Analytics

Logging trades, importing history, enriching entries, and understanding your performance and mindset analytics.

  • What is the trading journal and what can it track?

The Journal, in the main navigation, is where your trades live. Trades imported from a connected MetaTrader 5, TradeLocker or Tradovate account appear automatically, and you can add whatever context you like on top: notes, tags, chart screenshots and a short reflection on how the trade actually went. There's a calendar view for seeing your activity over time and a trades list for working through individual entries. Every analytic in the platform, including the Psychology surfaces, is built from this record, so the more honestly you capture, the more useful the feedback.

  • How do I add a trade manually?

In the Journal, use "Add trade" and choose "Add manually". Fill in what you know and save. You don't need a connected account to journal, and you don't need every field perfect on the first pass: manual entries sit alongside imported ones and can be edited and enriched later. This is the right route for a platform we don't integrate with yet, for backfilling trades from before you connected an account, or for capturing a trade quickly while it's fresh in your head.

  • How do I import trades from a CSV?

In the Journal, use "Add trade", then "Import from CSV", and upload the .csv export from your broker or platform. We try to recognise the format and pre-fill the column mapping, then show you the mapping screen with a preview of the first few rows so you can correct anything we guessed wrong. Only two mappings are actually required: the Symbol column and the entry price column. Everything else is optional but worth mapping if your export has it, including open and close timestamps, exit, stop and target prices, quantity, net or gross P&L, fees, account and a trade reference. Review the preview before you commit, because a wrong column mapping is much easier to catch there than to unpick afterwards. CSV import is the best way to backfill history from a platform we don't connect to directly.

  • Can I edit a trade or fill in details later?

Yes, and the platform is designed around it. Open a trade from the Journal and you can add or change notes, tags, screenshots and your reflection at any point after the fact. You don't need everything perfect up front. Coming back a day or a week later to review a trade properly is exactly the behaviour the analytics reward, so there's no rigid one-shot workflow and no penalty for enriching late. Imported price and P&L data comes from your platform, so if a figure there looks wrong, that usually points at the import rather than at something you typed.

  • What is a reflection, and what should I record on each trade?

A reflection is a short, structured review you attach to a trade, and it's what turns a list of P&L into something you can learn from. There are four dimensions: Setup, which grades the quality of the opportunity; Execution, how well you actually managed it; Plan, whether you followed your plan or deviated; and Emotion, your state at the time, from calm, edgy, frustrated, bored or euphoric. You can add free-text notes and a chart screenshot alongside. The Journal surfaces trades that are still waiting on a reflection so you can work through them in a batch rather than hunting for them. These four fields are the raw material for the Psychology analytics, so trades without them limit what the platform can tell you.

  • Can I attach screenshots to a journal entry?

Yes. You can attach images such as chart screenshots to a trade to give it context. PNG and JPEG are supported. A chart attached at the time is by far the fastest way to make a review meaningful weeks later, because you can see what you actually saw rather than what you remember seeing.

  • How do the Mindset and Psychology analytics work?

The Psychology section, in the main navigation, looks for patterns across the reflections you record rather than at your P&L alone. It cross-references your setup grades, execution quality, whether you followed your plan and your emotional state against what actually happened, and surfaces things like recurring vulnerabilities, your genuine strengths, and what particular patterns are costing you. Composure summarises your recent state. All of it is derived from your own journal, so it improves as your reflections get more honest, and it needs the reflection fields filled in: imported price data alone can't tell it anything about how you were thinking.

  • I haven't logged many trades yet. Can I still get useful feedback?

Yes, up to a point, and we won't just tell you to trade more. Different analyses need different amounts of evidence before they mean anything, and the platform tells you which specific thing is missing instead of hiding the feature. As a rough guide: the headline journal stats need around five closed trades before they're worth reading; discipline and behavioural patterns firm up around the same point and become properly confident nearer twenty; and the deeper strength and pattern-cost analyses want roughly twenty closed trades. Below those thresholds you'll see an honest note about the sample size rather than a confident-looking number built on three trades. The fastest way to unlock more is usually to reflect on trades you've already logged, or to backfill older trades with a CSV import, rather than to force new positions.

  • My trades are on the wrong day. How do I fix the timezone?

Your journal groups trades into days using the timezone set on your profile, so if trades are landing on the wrong day the timezone is usually the cause. Set it under Settings, on the General tab. Pick the timezone you actually think in when you trade, not necessarily the one your broker reports, because that's what makes the calendar and daily grouping match your sense of a trading day.

  • What are Reports and what's on the Dashboard?

The Dashboard is the landing view: a snapshot of your current context, recent activity and anything that needs your attention. Reports, in the main navigation, holds the longer-form write-ups you can open individually and read back over time. Both are built from your journal and the market context we captured, so a thin journal makes for a thin report. If a report looks empty or out of date, check that your trades are actually syncing first, because the reporting layer can only describe what made it into the journal.

Troubleshooting

Sign-in codes, rate limits, verification prompts, errors, and reaching a human.

  • Why does the support chat ask me to verify my identity?

General product questions never need verification. But the moment you ask something account-specific, such as what plan you're on, why your connection is failing or what your tickets say, we verify it's really you first with a one-time code to the email on your account. Until that check passes the assistant is blocked from reading anything about your account, and that block is enforced by the backend rather than by asking the assistant nicely. It's the same protection that stops someone else learning about your account by simply claiming to be you in a chat window.

  • What can the support assistant actually see and do?

The assistant answers from HybridTrader's help content, and once you've verified your identity it can look up a bounded set of facts about your own account: your plan and access state, subscribed instruments, community channel access, the health of your platform connections including when they last synced and what the last error was, whether you have enough journal and mindset data for the analytics to be meaningful, and your recent support tickets. It cannot list account-specific offers or validate promotion codes. It also cannot see your passwords, card number, trade prices or P&L, and it cannot change anything on your account: it can't cancel a subscription, reset a connection or edit a trade. If you need an action taken rather than a question answered, ask for a support ticket and a human will pick it up.

  • Why am I seeing a rate-limit message in support chat?

There are limits on how much can be sent through support in a given window, so the service stays responsive for everyone. As a guide, chat allows around 15 messages an hour and 50 a day, image attachments around 5 an hour and 20 a day, and you can raise up to 2 support tickets a day. If you hit one the app tells you how long to wait; just pause for the countdown and carry on. It isn't a problem with your account and it doesn't affect anything else in the platform. If you're hitting the ticket limit because an issue is genuinely urgent, reply on the existing ticket instead of opening another, as that reaches the same people faster.

  • How do I send a screenshot to support?

Use the attach control on the support chat message box. Images must be PNG or JPEG and no larger than 10 MB, and very large images are rejected rather than silently downscaled, so a normal screenshot is ideal and a full multi-monitor capture may not be. A picture of the actual error, including any reference code shown on screen, usually cuts the diagnosis time dramatically. Please crop or blank out anything you don't want us to see before uploading.

  • The app won't load or I'm seeing errors. How do I fix it?

Start with the cheap fixes. Refresh the page. Try a private or incognito window, which rules out a stale cached build and browser extensions in one go. Try a different browser or device to establish whether it's your machine or the platform. Check your connection, particularly on a VPN or a corporate network, as those sometimes block parts of the app. If it survives all that, raise a support ticket and include what you were doing, the exact page you were on, the time it happened and any error text or reference code on screen: that combination is usually enough for us to find it in the logs, and vague reports are the main reason a fix takes days rather than hours.

  • How do I reach a human or create a support ticket?

If the assistant can't resolve it, use the "Create a support ticket" option in the chat. You'll get a support reference straight away, in the form SUP-00042, and the team will follow up by email. Keep that reference: you can quote it back in chat and, once you've verified your identity, the assistant can look up its status for you. Please don't open several tickets for the same issue, as duplicates slow the queue down rather than speeding it up. Include what you were trying to do, what happened instead and roughly when, because that's what determines how quickly it gets resolved.

  • What does my ticket's status mean, and how long will it take?

A ticket gets its SUP- reference the instant it's created, and then it's handed to the team's tracker. Its status describes that handover, not the fix: received means it reached the team's tracker successfully; queued means it's created and safely stored but hasn't been handed over yet, which retries automatically; and not delivered means the handover failed and needs a nudge from us. If your ticket has been sitting as queued or not delivered, say so in chat and quote the reference, because that's a signal we want to see. We don't publish a response-time guarantee, so we'd rather you had the real status than an invented estimate.

Data, Privacy & Security

What data we hold, how your credentials are protected, and how to exercise your data rights.

  • What data does HybridTrader hold about me, and who can see my journal?

We hold your account details, your trading and journal data including anything you write in reflections, your platform connection settings, and the usual technical logs needed to run and secure the service. Your journal and trade history are yours: they power your own analytics inside your own account. We never sell personal data. We do use trusted processors to run the platform, including Supabase for authentication, database and storage, cloud hosting, email and notification providers, error monitoring, and AI model providers whose models process your inputs to generate the outputs you see. The full detail is in the privacy policy on the HybridTrader site.

  • How do I get a copy of my data, or have it deleted?

You have the right to access your personal data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to how it's processed, and receive a portable copy. To exercise any of those, email privacy@firegenie.co.uk; we aim to respond within 30 days. You can also start a chat here and we'll point the request at the right place. Deletion is permanent and takes your journal and analytics history with it, so if what you actually want is to stop paying rather than to erase everything, say so and we'll handle it as a cancellation instead.

  • How are my broker credentials stored, and what will support never ask for?

Broker credentials are encrypted at rest and are only ever used to read your trade history. For MetaTrader 5 Quick connect we require the investor (read-only) password and actively reject the master trading password, so what we hold cannot place a trade. Expert Advisor API keys are shown to you once at creation and stored only as a hash afterwards, which is why we can't show you an old key and can only issue a new one. Tradovate uses OAuth, so your password never reaches us at all. Deleting a connection destroys the stored credentials. Support will never ask you for your master trading password, your email sign-in code, your card number, or remote control of your machine. If anyone claiming to be from HybridTrader asks for any of those, it isn't us: stop, and report it here.

Journal

Help and guidance for this topic.

  • Can I generate statistic report from my journal report in Hybrid Trader Journal?

At the moment, generating a separate statistics report from your Journal isn't available in HybridTrader yet. Your Journal does provide performance statistics and insights directly within the dashboard, but there isn't currently an option to generate or download a dedicated statistics report. We're continuing to develop the Journal, so this is something that may be added in a future update.

  • I have paid for the subscription, but my login code is not arriving to my email. What can I do?

    Please try the following:

① Check the email address Make sure you're entering the exact email address you used when subscribing, including the correct spelling and capitalisation.

② Check your inbox and spam/junk folder The login code may sometimes take a few moments to arrive, or it may be filtered into your spam/junk folder.

③ Request a new code If you still haven't received it, please try requesting a new login code and check your inbox again.

④ Still not receiving the code? No problem — if the code still doesn't arrive after these steps, please contact our Support team through the support ticket option. We'll pass this on to a human member of the team who can investigate the issue further.

Notifications

Help and guidance for this topic.

  • Can I choose where I receive HybridTrader notifications?

HybridTrader account notifications are sent to the email address associated with your account and will also be available in your HybridTrader notifications by default.

At the moment, there isn't a setting that allows you to change or customise where these notifications are sent.

We're continuing to improve the notification system, so additional options may be introduced in the future.

Settings

Help and guidance for this topic.

  • Where can I find my settings?

You will find the settings at the top right corner of the dashboard, next to the notification bell. Click on the Circle (usually contains a first letter of your user's name or a picture), and the settings section will be visible to you then.
